What to Expect
After your microneedling treatment, your skin may appear pink or red and feel similar to mild sunburn. This is normal and typically settles within 24–48 hours.
For the first 3 hours, your skin has tiny micro‑channels that remain open. Please follow the guidance below to support optimal healing.
Immeadiately After Treatment (First 3 Hours)
Do not touch your face, do not apply any creams or lotions. Avoid sweating, heat, and sun exposure. After 3 hours, hyaluronic acid may be applied if needed
Rest of the day
Do not wear makeup. Sleep on a clean pillowcase.
Also avoid physical exercise, swimming, saunas, steam rooms and sunbeds. Exclude these for 72 hours.
Inflammatory Phase (Days 1–5)
Your skin is responding to the controlled micro‑injuries created during treatment. What’s happening?
Increased blood flow, activation of the immune response, redness, warmth, and sensitivity. Skin begins clearing debris and preparing for repair.
Care during this phase:
Use gentle skincare only. Keep the skin hydrated, avoid exfoliation, avoid retinols (Vitamin A) and strong actives, wear SPF daily when outdoors.
Fibroplastic Phase (Days 5–14)
Your skin begins rebuilding and strengthening. What’s happening?
Fibroblasts activate new collagen and elastin begins forming, texture gradually improves, mild dryness or flaking may occur.
Care during this phase:
Continue hydrating and protecting the skin, slowly reintroduce mild actives if your skin feels comfortable; avoid harsh exfoliants or strong retinoids. Support healing with calming, hydrating products
